Observation

1b: Owner/director has been using angry/hostile interactions with children often according to interviews with staff. (Licensors heard owner/director tell children that their actions were “nasty, just nasty”.) (Staff observed owner/director yank a door shut and tell a child in an angry tone “you are not leaving this room”.) (Staff heard owner/director tell children in an angry/hostile tone “you are not leaving the bathroom until you go potty” because she told them she did not want them to have an accident at nap.) 1c: staff observed on more than one occasion the owner/director take away children’s bedding and nap mat because they were not laying still with their eyes closed. Some of the children had to sleep on the hard floor. 1d: staff observed owner/director use an angry tone at a child and shake her cookie box in the child’s face because she ate her cookies before nap time. 1d: staff observed owner/director called a child a brat in front of the child’s sibling. 1gx: staff observed another staff had 4 non-napping children take a nap for discipline because they were being “bad”.
